Nicholas L. DePaolo is an Associate in the Firm's Newark, New Jersey office and a member of the Commercial Real Estate & Redevelopment and Land Use & Approvals Practice Groups.
Before joining the Firm, Mr. DePaolo served as a Deputy Attorney General in the State of New Jersey Office of the Attorney General in Trenton and clerked for the Honorable James W. Palmer, Jr., J.S.C. in the Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
While with the State of New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Mr. DePaolo acted as Counsel to the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority, the Department of Property Management and Construction, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the State House Commission, and other commissions and boards. He has experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, agreements, leases and other legal documents on property and real estate matters.
He received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law in 2015 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2011. While he was in law school, he was a staff editor of the Rutgers Law Record and served as a clinical law student in the school’s Community & Transactional Lawyering Clinic. While in college, he was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
