Nicole L. McCann is an Associate of the firm and specializes in Employment Law & Litigation and Human Resources Counseling & Compliance.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. McCann served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Christine Smith, J.S.C. in the Civil Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey – Atlantic/Cape May County Vicinage, where she assisted with cases in a wide array of civil practice areas by performing relevant legal research, analyzing applicable legal theories, and drafting official judicial decisions. Ms. McCann then spent her first years of practice in the representation of employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense matters.
Ms. McCann also worked as a 2017 Summer Associate at Genova Burns where she was exposed to various practice areas, including employment, labor, and commercial litigation.
Ms. McCann received her Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers Law School in 2018 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2015. During her tenure at Rutgers Law School, Ms. McCann focused her studies on employment law and participated in the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law Trial Advocacy Competition. At the time of graduation from Rutgers Law School, Ms. McCann was awarded the ABA and Bureau of National Affairs Labor and Employment Law Award.
