Thomas S. Garlick, Counsel, focuses his practice on Commercial Real Estate & Redevelopment law, Commercial and Residentail Real Estate Leasing, and Land Use & Approvals law.

Mr. Garlick has experience representing property owners and developers before land use boards and governmental agencies, guiding clients through all stages of real estate transactions, drafting leases and litigating landlord/tenant disputes, and has represented both municipal governing bodies and land use boards in New Jersey.

He assists municipalities in their regulation of land use, balancing individual property rights with community interests, preserving property values, ensuring community safety, encouraging appropriate land use, and maintaining transparency through public input. Mr. Garlick's legal experience assists Board's efforts in achieving these goals, ensuring that land use decisions align with the community's master plan and zoning regulations.

Previously, Mr. Garlick served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph R. Rosa, Jr., J.S.C. at the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen Vicinage.  He received his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Muhlenberg College.

Mr. Garlick also boasts the position of Team Captain for the winning Battle of the Barristers softball team.
