Harrison C. Clewell is an Associate in the firm's Newark, NJ office and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Practice Group
Prior to joining Genova Burns, Mr. Clewell was a Student Attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic at the Center for Social Justice where he represented criminal defendants in the Essex County Special Remand Court. He received the Clinical Legal Education Association Award, recognizing one individual for their work as an outstanding legal practitioner.
He also interned at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, the King’s County District Attorney’s Office, and the Office of the Attorney General of New Jersey. During his internships, he focused on various practice areas, including securities fraud, healthcare fraud, major economic crimes, and consumer affairs counseling.
In addition to working at Genova Burns, Mr. Clewell is a Judge Advocate in the United States Army Reserve. He currently provides defense counsel services to United States Army Reserve Soldiers in the Northeast United States.
Mr. Clewell received his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the New York University where he was a member of the varsity swim team.
