Sydney M. Schubert is a new Associate at Genova Burns LLC. Ms. Schubert dedicates her time to Employment Law, Bankruptcy Law and the emerging Alcohol and Beverage Laws. Ms. Schubert focuses on liquor law applications, Chapter 11 bankruptcy, disability benefits, discrimination, and retaliation claims. Ms. Schubert is also gaining experience in contracts and bankruptcy, 1983 civil rights claims, and other complex litigation matters.
Ms. Schubert graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2022 with a formal concentration in Health Law and was sworn in at the Genova Burns office in Newark in November 2022. Prior to that, she attended the University of Colorado Boulder where she completed a 4-year program in 3 years, and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy.
Ms. Schubert served as a legal intern at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of the Principal Legal Advisor in 2020. Since then, Ms. Schubert has worked as a law clerk for Genova Burns LLC where she has co-authored numerous blog posts, articles, and presentations.
