Rajiv D. Parikh Featured in the New York Times

Partner Rajiv D. Parikh was featured in a recent New York Times article entitled “South Asians in New Jersey are flexing their Political Muscle” regarding the South Asian community’s growing success in “working on campaigns, developing political strategies behind-the-scenes and being elected to office.” Mr. Parikh shares in the success as general counsel for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee and offers his insight onto this rising phenomenon, “I think there has been an awakening and a lot of it has to do with this transition from the immigrant mentality to the first- and second-generation mentality.” While the articles’ focus is on the South Asian community, it speaks to a universal theme of empowering all communities reaching beyond just our own.
