Genova Burns Legal Eagles Place 6th Overall at 2025 Corporate Fun Run

Genova Burns is proud to share that our team, the Legal Eagles, successfully completed our inaugural Corporate FunRun – New Jersey 5K!

Led by Team Captain and firm Partner, Matthew Kertz, Esq., the Legal Eagles brought great energy to the course. As Kertz put it: "Sometimes it just takes a little nudge to get people out of their comfort zone, but once we’re out there together, the energy is contagious. I’m proud of how our team showed up, not just to run, but to support each other and have fun along the way.”

And show up we did:

It was a night of teamwork, camaraderie, and plenty of fun — a great reminder that stepping outside the office together strengthens the bonds that drive our success.

About the Corporate FunRun

Since launching its first 5K in Westchester in 2014, the Corporate FunRun has hosted more than 200 races across the Tri-State, Mid-Atlantic, New England, and Southeast regions, with over 800 companies and 10,000 participants taking part in its events.
