Genova Burns LLC Announces Partner Promotion and Expansion

Genova Burns LLC, one of New Jersey’s premier law firms, announced the promotion of two attorneys to Partner and the addition of four new associates. Jennifer Roselle, Esq. and Lawrence Bluestone, Esq. have been elevated from Counsel to Partner at the well - known Newark - based Firm.

Jennifer Roselle, Esq. has been with the Firm for nine years during which time she has exhibited the professional growth and stature to become a key member of the Labor Practice Group and the Genova Burns team. Lawrence Bluestone, Esq., a member of the Firm for eight years, has proven to serve a vital role not only as an attorney but also as a mentor in Firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation and Appellate Practices. Both are extraordinary team players and each have embraced the four pillars of Genova Burns’ mission: Trust, Collaboration, Personal Service and Responsiveness.

As a member of the Genova Burns Complex Commercial Litigation team, Mr. Bluestone’s practice has focused on large business disputes in the state and federal courts in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Mr. Bluestone has also helped lead the Appellate Practice Group, advocating for clients after proceedings at the trial court level, and is keenly versatile and able to adapt to the specific needs of clients in each unique case. “I am thrilled to join the partnership at Genova Burns,” says Bluestone, “ In addition to continuing to work with my talented colleagues and honing my skills as a litigator, as a Partner, I hope to help mentor younger attorneys at Genova Burns, something I experienced personally when I first started at the firm fresh out of a judicial clerkship.” Mr. Bluestone is a member of the LGBT Section for the NJ Bar and the LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Jennifer Roselle joined Genova Burns as a relatively junior attorney and feels that the Firm has given her phenomenal chances to grow as a professional. Roselle says, “I’ve been given the chance to learn new areas of law, been given opportunities to lead, and have always known that I had full support of everyone here.” She continues to say, “I’m looking forward to continue to grow with the support of such amazing people and hopefully be able to teach others along the way.” Her growth and expertise is evident in the newly legal cannabis industry in New Jersey. Ms. Roselle has become one of the most sought-after speakers in the state in regards to cannabis industry and employment.

Harrison Clewell hails from New Providence, New Jersey and is a graduate of Seton Hall School of Law. He is a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation Practice Group and has been focusing on specifically Commercial Litigation and Election Law. He notes that his passion to help and serve others is what led him to become a lawyer. Whether it be at Genova Burns or in the Army Reserve as a Judge Advocate, Harrison eagerly seizes the opportunity to use his position and leaned skills for the betterment of others. For Mr. Clewell, the ability to have a positive impact on people’s lives is his greatest motivation.

Yostina Mishriky, of Manalapan, New Jersey, is an Associate in the Firm’s Employment Law & Litigation and Labor Law Practices. She assists in drafting position statements to the EEOC, answering complaints and discovery responses and drafting mediation statements.

Ms. Mishriky’s parents immigrated from Egypt looking for a better life and future. Her inspiration to work hard and in a profession filled with opportunities is fueled from watching her parents struggle through their immigration process and hardships. She is committed to making the absolute most of her future and her parent’s sacrifices.

Christopher Manley, of North Arlington, New Jersey, is a a graduate of William Paterson University and Duke University School of Law and an Associate in the Firm’s Labor Law practice group.. Mr. Manley was inspired to attend law school and become a lawyer while taking pre-law courses at William Paterson with Professor (and mentor?) Michael Principe.

Herschel P. Rose, currently a resident of Jersey City, is an Associate in the Commercial Real Estate & Redevelopment Law Practice Group at Genova Burns and has work in the real estate and land use law practice for several years. Although originally from Maryland, he attended law school at Rutgers School of Law and decided to stay in the Garden State. Mr. Rose had always dreamed of becoming a lawyer and has several family members who practice. He made the decision to enter into the career after spending several years working as a paralegal and gaining practical experience in the field.
