Firm Counsel Jennifer Roselle has recorded a session entitled “Personnel and Labor Law Updates” to be broadcast with a live Q&A at the New Jersey State League of Municipalities’ 105th Annual Conference (presented virtually) on November 19th.

Ms. Roselle’s session will explore negotiability of personnel matters during a public health emergency (including changes to staffing levels, furloughs, and layoffs), recent changes to the AG police discipline reporting requirements and updates to employee leave entitlements.

About Jennifer Roselle

Jennifer Roselle is Counsel in the Firm's Newark, NJ office and a member of the Employment Law & Litigation, Labor Law and Human Resources Counseling & Compliance Practice Groups as well as the Education and Cannabis Law Industry Groups.

Ms. Roselle has a wide range of experience representing employers in traditional labor on behalf of public and private sector clients. She regularly represents management in representation matters, unfair practices, labor arbitrations, and collective bargaining. Ms. Roselle regularly appears before the various administrative agencies charged with adjudicating labor disputes. She also has unique experience negotiating labor peace agreements and preparing labor compliance plans in connection with medical marijuana licensing applications.

Ms. Roselle also counsels employers on employee discipline matters; medical marijuana use in the workplace; managing employee leaves of absence; accommodation requirements under State and Federal disability laws; wage and hour matters; and creation of workplace policies. She regularly provides employee training on prohibited conduct in the workplace and conducts independent investigations into alleged workplace discrimination and harassment.
