Michael C. McQueeny Interviewed on NJTV's State of Affairs with Steve Adubato

Michael C. McQueeny, Esq.. Chair of Genova Burns’ Cannabis Practice, appeared on Steve Adubato’s State of Affairs, to discuss cannabis legalization in New Jersey, the expansion of the medical program, and the interrelationship with the ongoing vaping crisis. Mr. McQueeny spoke on the reasons underlying the inability of the Legislature to timely pass adult use legalization, as well as reasons for optimism that such legislation will pass in the coming months. Mr. McQueeny addressed the Legislature’s social equity aims built into more recent legislation, as well as the ongoing debate among legislators as to how best address the taxing implications and effects across all proposals. Finally, Mr. McQueeny addressed Governor Murphy’s efforts to expand the medical program, including how the medical marijuana division has addressed and responded to the vaping crisis.
