Brian W. Kronick and Joseph Hannon to Speak at NJICLE Seminars

Firm Partner Brian W. Kronick and Associate Joseph M. Hannon will speak at a series of seminars entitled “Legal Aspects of Municipal Labor Relations” for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Session 1, “Practice before the Public Employment Relations Commission” will take place on July 7th from 9am to 1pm. This seminar will include rules and regulations of PERC and PERC Appeal Board, appeal procedures and enforcement and compliance proceedings. Session 2, entitled “Representation Procedures and Unfair Practice Charge Proceedings” will be held on July 14th from 9am to 1pm and will cover categories of public employees, exclusivity and minority representation and determination of the appropriate negotiating units. Lastly, Session 3, “Getting to Yes: The Negotiation Process in Public Employment” will be held on July 21st from 9am to 1 pm where Mr. Kronick and Mr. Hannon will discuss statutory prohibitions and mandates, development of a negotiations strategy and types of terminal procedures and their fair use.
