Firm Partner Jim Bucci has been selected to the 2014 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list as one of the state’s top attorneys in the area of Employment and Labor Law. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Mr. Bucci has been selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list for several years, including most recently in 2012 and 2013. A member of the Complex Commercial Litigation and Employment Law & Litigation Practice Groups. Mr. Bucci manages the firm’s Camden, NJ and Philadelphia, PA offices.
Mr. Bucci’s practice specifically involves the representation of management in all types of labor and employment matters, including employment discrimination litigation, the Fair Labor Standards Act and overtime litigation and advice, ERISA, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, breach of contract, and public and private sector collective bargaining, unfair labor practice charges and grievance arbitrations. Mr. Bucci also advises employers on a wide range of human resource issues, including the drafting of employment contracts, restrictive covenants, severance agreements and handbooks.
Mr. Bucci also handles complex commercial litigation for firm clients, including matters involving contract and business disputes, fraud and misrepresentation, real estate, construction disputes, First Amendment & Constitutional rights claims, defamation and related business torts, internet law, and public contract and bid protests. Mr. Bucci has represented business throughout the eastern United States in a variety of business-related disputes, including the prosecution and defense of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, claims for tortious interference with actual and prospective contractual relations, employee raiding and unfair competition.
