Michael C. McQueeny to Speak About Marijuana in the Workplace at CIANJ Program

Cannabis Law Practice Co-Chair Michael C. McQueeny will speak about marijuana in the workplace on CIANJ panel entitled, "How Employers Adapt to Legalization" tomorrow, January 23rd. The program description notes, "All signs are indicating New Jersey will soon legalize the recreational use of marijuana. Enabling legislation is progressing in Trenton. Gov. Phil Murphy supports the concept and entrepreneurs are positioning themselves to take advantage of the new industry."

"While the marketplace adjusts, employers are asking how the new law will affect them. CIANJ members are questioning whether their personnel policies have to be rewritten, what kind of testing is available and what they must do to face the new era. CIANJ organized an expert panel to delve into issue."
