"Montclair Pride is unique…Revenue generated at Montclair Pride is INVESTED back into year-round educational and community programming to CREATE SAFE SPACES and OFFER RESOURCES to LGBTQIA+ teens, families, seniors, as well as trans, gender nonconforming, and nonbinary people of all ages.

This specialized programming is URGENT as anti-LGBTQIA+ forces attempt to censor and shame our existence: values against Montclair’s sense of community.

Out Montclair’s mission is BUILDING COMMUNITY for people who are marginalized, to create safe spaces so no one feels alone, to recognize how we are targeted for violence and build capacity through knowledge, resources and in-person advocacy."

Out Montclair is a nonprofit organization created to raise awareness and provide support and solidarity for the LGBTQIA+ community of Montclair. They offer educational and charitable activities and events to promote inclusivity and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, non-binary and gender-fluid youth and adults. Additionally, they are a safe space where community and allies can come together and celebrate who they are.
