Nicholas Amato Featured in Casino.org Article

Nicholas R. Amato, Chair of the Firm’s Casino & Gaming Practice Group, was recently featured on Casino.org in an article entitled, “Regulators, Experts Say Ocean Casino Resort Faces Multiple Challenges as Luxor Takes Interim Control, Trustee Named”. The article discusses how the “Ocean Casino Resort needs to overcome financial difficulties and other roadblocks, according to the New Jersey state Division of Gaming Enforcement and Casino Control Commission, as regulators last week gave Luxor Capital Group interim control over the Atlantic City property.” Mr. Amato commented that “the casino needs strong financial and executive teams. Also, a key goal is ‘getting around the numbers,’ and that casino management additionally needs to identify ‘what draws occupancy: customers.’ Marketing plays a very big role.”
