William Harrison to Participate at New Jersey Appleseed Public Policy Forum

March 18, 2015

Firm Partner William F. Harrison will moderate a panel entitled “Policy & Common Sense: Incorporating Environmental Impact Statements & Health Impact Assessments into New Jersey’s Land Laws” on Monday, March 23rd at the New Jersey Appleseed Public Policy Forum. The panel will explore whether the benefits of mandating such impacts and approving or denying projects based on those outcomes outweigh the costs to developments and projects in New Jersey. The Forum will also explore efficient and ethical land use policies, discuss private sector concerns and ways to address opposition, focus on how implementing ‘green’ can impact the bottom line, look at the ways that affordable housing can help create sustainable, safe, and strong communities, and examine strategies to reduce risk from new policies. This Forum has been approved for 7.2 CLE and up to 4 CEU credits.
