Ken Sheehan to Speak at the NRBP’s Business Lunch: Building Clean and Green
June 4, 2013
Kenneth J. Sheehan, Director of the firm’s Energy & Utility Law Practice Group, will join Jeff Schotz, executive vice president of SJP Properties, in discussing the ways that Panasonic and other companies benefit from green design at the Newark Regional Business Partnership’s Business Lunch, starting at noon on June 14 at 744 Broad Street in Newark.
Projects large and small are proving that building green is not only an environmentally friendly thing to do but also a way to realize significant cost savings. The newest building to grace the Newark skyline, Panasonic’s iconic US headquarters, now under construction by SJP Properties, will attain one of the highest LEED green building designations possible.
Mr. Sheehan will talk about state and federal grant programs and funds available through the BPU, noting how companies can be both green and profitable.
