Her career spans leadership roles in government, higher education, and private practice, offering legal acumen, strategic insight and a results-driven approach to her work.  

Christine’s career reflects a consistent commitment to public service and education equity. As the former General Counsel of Essex County College and a member of the President’s Cabinet, she advised on multimillion-dollar capital projects, co-led labor negotiations, overhauled Title IX compliance, and resolved critical litigation—all while strengthening the College’s community partnerships and advancing its mission. She has also counseled large urban school districts as a partner in private practice and founded her own family-centered education law firm representing parents and students in special and general education and guardianship matters.

Beyond her legal work, Christine is a respected voice in the field – frequently presenting at conferences and creating individualized training for boards and administrators. Widely regarded as a thought leader on governance, compliance, and equity in education, Christine was recently featured in Hispanic Executive magazine. Her leadership has also been honored by InsiderNJ’s Women’s Power List, ROI-NJ Influencers: Women in Business, the Essex County Bar Association, and Executive Women of New Jersey.

Deeply engaged in New Jersey’s civic and professional networks, Christine serves on the boards of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and NJLEEP, and actively mentors emerging leaders.
