Partner Rebecca Moll Freed will present a program entitled “Demystifying the ELEC (Election Law Enforcement Commission) Process” on Monday, October 22nd. This program is sponsored by the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey and The Center for American Women and Politics and was created for those who have thought about running for elected office in New Jersey or forming a political action committee but have sat on the sidelines as a result of being intimidated by campaign finance requirements.
Ms. Freed’s workshop will explore:
- Legal requirements associated with establishing an ELEC registered committee
- “Dos and Don’ts” of complying with reporting requirements
- New Jersey campaign finance law and pay-to-play restrictions.
