As Chief Financial and Operating Officer, Ms. Acevedo seamlessly leads the firm’s daily administrative and financial operations. She supervises the Firm’s department directors and helps to execute the Firm’s long term strategic initiatives. Ms. Acevedo is an integral part of the Management, Hiring, and Marketing committees.  

A Montclair University graduate, holding a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration, Ms. Acevedo brings her accounting and management experience from her years at one of the countries Big Four CPA firm to Genova Burns.

Ms. Acevedo is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators (" ALA") and the New Jersey Association of Legal Administrators ("NJALA"). She lives with her two sons who both attend New Jersey Universities. One attends Rutgers University and will graduate with a degree in Ecology, while the other attends Montclair State and is majoring in Business Management.

Her professionalism, leadership, and extraordinary skillset make her an integral part of the Genova Burns family.

Wendy Viscuso is Genova Burns’ Client Service Billing Manager. With more than thirty years’ experience in the legal industry, Ms. Viscuso has extensive experience in leadership, management, training, and motivating team members. Prior to joining Genova Burns, Ms. Viscuso served as Chief Financial Officer; HR Manager; IT Manager; and Office Manager at a nationally recognized law firm.

Ms. Viscuso’s professionalism and exceptional skills as well as her former experience as a motivational speaker, make her an asset to the firm.

Ms. Viscuso is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators (“ALA”), the New Jersey Association of Legal Administrators (“NJALA”) and the National Association of Professional Women (“NAPW”).

Colleen Conway, SHRM-CP,   is the Human Resources Manager at Genova Burns LLC. She has been with the firm for over 20 years, holding several roles within the firm, and has been working in H.R. for the past 5 years. Colleen earned a B.S. in Business Management from Western Governors University and is certified in Project Management by CompTIA.

Colleen is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators, the New Jersey Association of Legal Administrators and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Steve oversees the strategic and execution of IT operations and infrastructure within Genova Burns. He attended City University of NY with a major in computer science. He received Network and Security Certifications while graduating from the Chubb Institute. Steve enjoys playing the piano at religious events with his wife as cantor and shoots professional photography to capture those precious moments .

Genova Burns robust marketing department is led by Tammy Orlando and supported by Alexandra Kahn, Business Development & Marketing Specialist.   Ms. Orlando holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Thomas Edison State College where she attended as an Edward J. Blaustein Distinguished Scholar.

Ms. Orlando's marketing expertise was fine tuned in the maritime world where she co-owned a medical management company.  She is currently a member of the Legal Marketing Association. 

As an avid equestrian and animal lover, Tammy's family not only consists of a husband and two boys, but two rescue pit bulls, reptiles, a coop of chickens, horses, some fish and peacocks.

Candy Ricci brings more than 15 years of legal and administrative experience to her role as Office Manager of Genova Burns LLC. She is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where she graduated with honors and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and later studied at the Sorbonne in France for a semester upon completion of the Study Abroad Program. Ms. Ricci has a strong background of paralegal skills and years of professional administrative experience. She is fluent in French and Portuguese.

She benefits the legal team with her unique ability to work well with others from many walks of life while maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy for the benefit all clients. Ms. Ricci's  professional background includes legal, administrative, management, coordinator and office support services.

At Genova Burns, Ms. Ricci benefits the “team” through her “never give up” attitude and always stands by the commitments of the firm in getting the job done. She ensures that the firm runs according to its pristine standards and that all clients are treated with the upmost respect; that the client files are kept in excellent condition; that attorneys are apprised of all client needs, and coordinates such that all administrative affairs within the office run smoothly, punctually and according to strict time deadlines. She endeavors to assist the attorneys in their goal to provide excellent cost-effective legal service to clients at reasonable rates.
