Christopher M. Kurek

Christopher M. Kurek is an Associate in the Firm’s Labor Law and Employment Law & Litigation Practice Groups.

Mr. Kurek has successfully advised and represented clients in a wide variety of litigation and transactional matters, including insurance defense, estate planning, personal injury, and labor and employment matters. He possesses extensive experience in all phases of civil litigation, and has successfully argued motions before the New Jersey Superior Court and various municipal courts.

Mr. Kurek previously served as Deputy Attorney General for the Employment Counseling and Labor Section of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, where he acted as primary counsel for employee removal hearings on behalf of the Department of Human Services and the Department of Corrections. He has extensive experience arguing cases before the Appellate Division on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Labor and has represented various state agencies in matters before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and New Jersey Division on Civil Rights.

Mr. Kurek began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Marc M. Baldwin of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Mr. Kurek is currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
