Brett Pugach Provides Ballot Petition Training for Female Class at Emerge NJ

Genova Burns Associate Brett M. Pugach led a training session on ballot petitions to help female candidates obtain the information they need to properly navigate the petition process in order to qualify to appear on the ballot as candidates in upcoming elections.  The presentation was given on March 24, 2018 to a class of candidates affiliated with Emerge New Jersey, an organization devoted to increasing the number of Democratic women leaders from diverse backgrounds in public office through recruitment, training, and providing a powerful network.  Mr. Pugach and the rest of Genova Burns’ Corporate Political Activity and Election Law Practice Groups regularly provide advice to, and serve as counsel to candidates, political organizations, businesses, and other entities in connection with ballot issues, campaign finance and pay-to-play, and other election law topics.  Genova Burns’ attorneys have featured in and obtained successful results in prominent election law cases throughout New Jersey, and have coordinated a statewide volunteer attorney network and Voter Protection Hotline to assist voters on Election Day for the last several years.
