Jennifer Roselle, Counsel in the Firm’s Newark, New Jersey office, is a member of the Labor Law, Education Law and Cannabis Law Practice Groups.
Ms. Roselle has experience in all areas of labor, employment and education law including advising and counseling clients on such issues as employment discrimination, contract interpretation, tenure and seniority, personnel policies and scope of negotiations, employee training and employment counseling, contract negotiations, collective bargaining at all levels including mediation and fact finding, arbitration, and litigating unfair practice charges.
- Provides counseling to management regarding Federal and New Jersey wage and hour law compliance, including record-keeping requirements and overtime requirements, and appearing on behalf of management before the N.J. Department of Labor.
- Regularly provides management with counseling and training regarding the employment experience, including hiring practices, employee rights under Federal and New Jersey law, leaves of absences, and employee discipline.
- Regularly counsels clients concerning labor relations, union grievances and employee discipline and represents management in grievance hearings, disciplinary hearings, and all types of administrative hearings before State agencies.
- Conducts independent investigations following employees’ complaints of discrimination, harassment or hostile work environment.
Ms. Roselle serves as co-Chair of the firm’s Inclusionary Initiative, which encompasses the firm’s Women’s Initiative and Diversity Initiative. The Inclusionary Initiative focuses on the common goal of fostering better lawyers and serving our clients’ needs.
Ms. Roselle was named a “Rising Star” by New Jersey Super Lawyers in 2013.
