Keith A. Loughlin

Keith A. Loughlin is an Associate in the Firm’s Commercial Real Estate & Redevelopment and Corporate Political Activity Law Practice Groups.

Mr. Loughlin, former Chief Counsel to the New Jersey Assembly Minority Office, counsels corporate, municipal, and individual clients in government affairs and real estate law including zoning, planning and land use development and redevelopment.  He also handles complex civil and commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, environmental claims, insurance coverage, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, professional liability, and toxic torts.

As Chief Counsel, Mr. Loughlin managed the Assembly Minority legal staff and counseled members and employees on all legal and ethical issues. In that capacity, he served as an aide to various legislative committees.  Mr. Loughlin previously served as Chief of Staff to New Jersey Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick.

Mr. Loughlin is the Zoning Board of Adjustment Attorney for the Township of Springfield, New Jersey, and he is the alternate board attorney for a number of municipal land use boards throughout New Jersey.

Mr. Loughlin is a Town Councilman in Westfield, New Jersey, where he serves as Chairman of the Public Safety, Transportation and Parking Committee, and a member of the Code Review and Town Property Committee.  Mr. Loughlin is also a member of the Westfield Y’s Men’s Club, and he serves as a regular guest speaker at the Westfield Public Schools.

From 2009-2013, Mr. Loughlin was recognized in New Jersey Monthly Magazine by Super Lawyers as a New Jersey Rising Star.

After law school, Mr. Loughlin served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph P. Perfilio, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County.
